We are often asked why our inflatables weigh more than our competitors. The usual comparison is that a competitors product will weigh 55Kg’s, when an Air Inflatables product weighs 80Kg’s, Why?
The answer is simple, one linear meter of PVC weighs approximately 1Kg. So an Air Inflatables bouncy castle has more PVC sewn into it, this means that an Air Inflatables bouncy castle is stronger, better built and generally of higher quality.
Competitors may reduce their PVC content to save cost, however this will have a detrimental effect on quality.
Remember the internal structure of an inflatable is just as important as the external structure, this is where the strength and quality of the bouncy castle stems from.
At Air Inflatables we reinforce (with PVC) all our seams we also use more webbing than our competitors (again for strength), this additional strengthening PVC increases quality and will ensure that your inflatable lasts for years to come.
